Corrective Chiropractic is a fee for service business and accepts self-paying patients. This means that patients pay the doctor directly for services which do include payments using Flexible Spending (FSA) and Health Savings (HAS) accounts.

Some Insurance Policies allow for “out-of-network” coverage. If this applies to you then a statement may be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Additionally, there are tax deductions available for Chiropractic health services.

Medicare AND SUPPLEMENTAL PLANS do offer coverage for Chiropractic services and are accepted.

dr. katie does not accept/ work with personal injury or no fault insurance.

Why does the doctor not work with insurance directly?

Insurance companies and HMO PLANS do not have the patient’s best interest in mind and may limit the number of visits that they will cover. Often achieving your greatest health is a process and does not happen overnight. Being “out of network” allows the patient and doctor more control over how to go about meeting goals that you’ve established together.

Dr. Katie works with each individual based on their needs to make care an easy and positive experience.
